A fitting quote that truly befits the magnificent change the Sorors and community of the Northern Bahamas experienced in 2022 during the Grand Bahama Alumnae Chapter's Spring Membership Intake Process. We were guided by the patient, always accessible, dynamic, and incomparable leadership of Soror Sabrina Polote, as our Regional Membership Intake Coordinator.
Our chapter may be small in numbers, but we are large in service, with a passion for taking the name of Delta to newer heights.
From her perspective, Soror Polote’s vision was that no chapter — large or small — or Soror would be left behind. She dedicated her time to training, educating, and empowering our team to not only adhering to the policies and guidelines established by our regional and national leadership teams, but also to ensuring our core values of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service and Social Action always remained at the forefront.
The phone lines were always open, the sisterly love was always felt, the thoroughness in providing answers, structure, and guidance never wavered. Clarification and fact checking remained at the top of her to do list — all with a smile and a sense of calm.
Soror Polote understood the assignment, and executed with professionalism, class and most importantly, the true depiction of sisterhood.
The Sorors of the Grand Bahama Alumnae Chapter have been changed because "the one we have been waiting for" Soror Polote is the change.
I undoubtedly recommend Soror Sabrina Polote for the Southern Region Member of the National Scholarship & Standards Committee to be the change that takes our region to the next level in continuing Delta's assignment.
